Join the Fusion Team

The Intermediate Unit 1 Fusion Cyber Solutions Team is looking for local educators to become proficient Moodle users while developing challenging online courses.

The IU1 Fusion program provides school districts a flexible platform and professional development to establish, implement, and sustain their own 21st century teaching and learning environment. Through Moodle, a learning management system, educators can create online dynamic learning environments to prepare students to meet the challenges of an information society.

Interested educators will be trained on using Moodle and develop the skills needed to implement online courses.

Participants in the program receive a stipend of $375 for a semester elective course, or $750 for a full year course, upon the course’s approval. Opportunities are available to teach courses per semester or for a full year.

Teachers must have a valid Pennsylvania Teaching Certificate and be certified in the appropriate subject areas.
