Bentworth Senior’s Message Hits the Highway!

"Save that text. Save that snap. Save your life. Drive safely."

A huge congratulations to Yeshua Biu, a senior at Bentworth High School, for winning the State Farm Distracted Driving Billboard Contest! His powerful message on safe driving is now displayed on I-70 East between the Kammerer and Ginger Hill exits, reminding drivers to stay focused during National Distracted Driving Awareness Month.

Yeshua was awarded a $1,000 check, which he plans to save for college as he prepares to attend the University of Pittsburgh this fall. Bentworth School District representatives spoke highly of his achievements, recognizing his dedication to academics and extracurriculars, including drama club, student council, National Honor Society, marching band, and varsity soccer, all while excelling in AP courses.

KDKA, PennDOT, State Farm, and Bentworth School District representatives joined in celebrating this achievement. This marks the first time the same school has won two years in a row - to go, Bentworth!
