IU1 hosted its 2nd Annual School Leader Summit on June 16–17 at the Pennsylvania Trolley Museum in Washington, PA. With the theme Building Inclusive Communities Through Leadership and Innovation, the summit brought together principals, special education leaders, and curriculum coordinators for two days of inspiring keynotes, collaborative breakout sessions, and meaningful networking opportunities. IU1 Executive Director Dr. Donald Martin opened the event by emphasizing the importance of being a better human and finding ways to positively impact others—an essential message for educators and leaders alike. Featured keynote speakers included Tim Kretchman of Action Driven Education, Dr. Carole Clancy, Director of Special Education at PDE, and Brian Campbell, Director of Curriculum, Assessment, and Instruction at PDE.
