Evidence-Based Practices – Post School Outcomes
Empowering educational teams to prepare students for successful transitions to adulthood and independent living
Our Purpose
At IU1, our Training & Consultation (TaC) service supports educators, school teams, administrators, and families in implementing evidence-based practices (EBPs) that promote positive post-school outcomes. We help teams plan and deliver instruction and support that prepare students for life after high school, including further education, employment, and independent living.
What is “Post School Outcomes”?
The term “Post-School Outcomes” refers to the skills, support, and opportunities that help students successfully transition from school to adult life. These outcomes focus on:
- Employment and career readiness
- Independent living and daily life skills
- Post-Secondary education and training
- Social, civic, and community participation
