Partial Hospitalization Program
The Intermediate Unit One (IU1) Partial Hospitalization Program, located on the IU1 campuses in Waynesburg and McMurray, provides intensive mental health support for K–12 students with significant emotional and behavioral needs. This program serves students transitioning from less intensive services or stepping down from higher levels of care.
Students attend a full school day that includes structured therapeutic interventions, individualized treatment planning, and weekly psychiatric consultations. The program focuses on stabilizing acute symptoms and building essential coping and regulation skills.
Admission is based on psychiatric recommendations and referrals.
