Intermediate Unit One Partial Hospitalization Program

The IU1 Partial Hospitalization Program is located at the IU1 campus in Waynesburg. The Program is designed for students K-12 who have significant mental health needs and are stepping up from a less restrictive mental health program or stepping down from a more restrictive program. Students in the program receive comprehensive mental health treatment planning, intensive therapeutic support during a full school day, and weekly psychiatric appointments. Admission to the program is based on a psychiatric recommendation and referrals.
