Fallingwater

Learning Through Architecture represented a 3-year collaboration between Fallingwater, IU1, local teachers and museum educators.  Using architecture as a point of departure, teachers planned to incorporate design and digital fabrication into lessons with their students.  Teachers were immersed in a transformative and supportive learning environment with a focus on creative inquiry during a summer residency and professional development throughout the year.  As a final component, the IU1 Mobile Fab Lab visited each school for a week to implement the design and fabrication lessons with their students.
