During IU1 In-Service Week, held the week of August 12th, 2024, each department engaged in specialized trainings and workshops on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday, fostering professional growth and collaboration. The week’s highlight occurred on Thursday when the entire IU1 staff, over 400 strong, gathered at Charleroi High School for the general session. The day was packed with enriching breakout sessions, a delicious lunch, exciting raffle prizes, and a highly anticipated Q&A panel featuring the directors and supervisors of IU1 departments and programs. This panel offered the staff a unique opportunity to gain insights into the work of their colleagues, fostering a deeper sense of community and collaboration within the organization.
