The IU1 Partial Hospitalization Program located at the IU1 campus at Waynesburg provides support for K–12 students with significant mental health challenges. This program is designed for students transitioning from less intensive services or stepping down from more restrictive levels of care. Students participate in a full school day that includes structured therapeutic interventions, personalized mental health treatment planning, and weekly psychiatric consultations. The focus of treatment is on stabilizing acute symptoms and developing essential coping strategies. Admission is based on psychiatric recommendations and referrals.
