Using Microsoft Word in the Classroom with Cheryl Kolacynski
Using Microsoft Word in the Classroom is a PC-based course designed for grades K-12. Mac users will have to visit the “course wiki” within the course interface to get information on Mac vs PC commands. Individuals ?will learn through video and written lessons how to create, edit, and enhance documents. Items covered will be basic Word functions, auto-correct feature, building blocks, custom bullets, mail merge, graphics on labels, tables, tabs and ruler settings, clip-art, text box, watermark, styles and themes. Final project will be a classroom flyer. A 20-question pre-test and 20-question post-test (multiple choice/true, false) is used for evaluation.
This course is a work-at-your-own pace online course and available 24 hours a day during the ?time of the course. You will receive specific information concerning this course or workshop on the day before the start date. A User ID and link to the course site will be emailed to you at that time, there will not be any additional electronic communications before then.
Participants must have a working knowledge ?the Internet, high speed Internet access, and a working email account for the duration of the course.
