Regional and State Computer Fairs

Over the last month students have participated in the Intermediate Unit 1 and State Computer Fairs. IU1 partnered with Waynesburg University again this year for the high school competition. The University, through the work of Mr. Krause, hosted the competition and provided many of the judges, including college faculty and students. The middle school competition took place at IU1. Winners of the high school regional competition traveled to Harrisburg on Tuesday for the statewide competition. The middle school winners completed their statewide competition on April 23, 2008. Students from the IU1 region have been very successful at the state level over the past several years.
