Laminator for Your Use
Information Services provide lamination service to anyone that wish to use it. Two different size "warm" laminators are available for your use (11 inch and 27 inch). The cost is $1.00 per foot. We also have a brand new "cold" laminator (11 inch).
Poster Maker Equipment for Your Use
We house a poster maker. A choice of colors is available for your use. Two different kinds of paper may be used. One can be laminated ($4.50 per poster) and the other is $2.50 per poster but cannot be laminated. Your school district may also purchase the paper and use our machine at no cost.
We have a brand new poster maker machine this year. We can still take your 8-1/2 x 11 sheet and make it into a poster, but the system also interacts with a computer allowing for new operability and new avenues of creation.

Identification Badges

Central Communication Spot for District Technology Coordinators
Periodically, the technology coordinators and technology representatives for the school districts are invited to attend a Technology Council meeting at the IU1 administration offices. This provides a central communication spot for the coordinators. The purpose of these meetings is to discuss mutual items of interest, state initiatives, breaking technology and have an opportunity to network.
We also invite a provider of technology to speak on areas of interest to the Council. This provides an opportunity for education in new technologies for the attendees as well as free time to ask questions of the provider regarding support and services they offer.
Individuals interested in attending, or presenting to, the Technology Council should contact Kristin Van Strien at 724-938-3241 ext. 244. Individuals are asked to speak based upon the interest of the attendees.
