12:30 p.m. Site exploration and lesson and activity planning

2:30 p.m. Group sharing and discussion of lessons and activities and evaluation completion
3:00 p.m. Dismissal

October 22, 2008, 8:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.

In this workshop, participants will videoconference with Kris Pruzin and Laura Gottesman, presenters for the Library of Congress online sessions to explore the vast website and online resources of the Library of Congress. There will be a focus on Language Arts but other educators may attend.

Time is allowed for individual exploration of the extensive Library of Congress website (http://www.loc.gov) and to develop lessons based on the information and activites there.
